Despite proclaiming himself, “happy with Jenny [McCarthy],” his girlfriend of over two years, Jim Carrey is reluctant to head down the aisle again.
The “Horton Hears a Who” star had this to say about marriage to Britain’s Weekend magazine: “If you’ve done it twice, you really should stop doing it.”
Jim was previously married to Melissa Carrey, with whom he has a daughter, Jane, and actress Lauren Holly.
Jenny has a 5-year-old autistic son named Evan from her marriage to director John Asher.
Jim says that Evan is, “A wonderful boy. And he teaches me so much. I play with him in a way that makes him want to be part of the gang, and Jenny says I get him past certain fears.”
