Katie Holmes will be making her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller’s “All My Sons.”
She has already committed to taking part in a private workshop of the play in May.
Broadway veterans John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest have also been cast as leads in the play.
Katie was active in her high school’s theater program, but has not taken on a stage role since then.
She has struggled to keep her career afloat since her marriage to Tom Cruise, and is reportedly hoping to revive her career with this role.
A source says, “This play will be like a shop window for Katie. The aim is to remind people of her acting chops. It’s kind of a neat idea. [Tom Cruise’s first wife] Nicole Kidman had Hollywood eating out of her hand when she was in The Blue Room.
Katie’s latest project, the comedy “Mad Money,” was not well received by critics or moviegoers.
